Olive hard cover with green, orange, and white circle designs and orange lettering. SIGNED and INSCRIBED, " para Carmen la primera amiga en este dulce exitio Willis." "Carmen" refers to the wife of the noted poet, composer, and National Arts Winner , Juan Orrego Salas of Chile and fellow professor to Barnstone at Indiana University. This copy is VG in a VG, unclipped ($2.75) DJ designed by William Wondriska. Exterior rubbed along edges, but covers are rich and lettering bright. Inside otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tightly bound. This book nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1960. DJ has three small closed tears (< 1 1/2"), a bit of rubbing along front spine joint, and modest chipping to the top..
