The book has a short gift inscription on the front fep "to Peter with best wishes Tasha Tudor". Covers show some light (old) white staining to the lower corner & edge. Contents are near fine.

Jacket is quite edgeworn, chipped, toned and torn. Waterstain along fore edge of front and rear panels. Half the jacket spine is gone. 1.00 orig price on flap. [36] pp. An unusual book from Tudor's "blue period," the illustrations are all painted in blue. This ex-lib copy has been read and circulated with light soiling, but no torn pages. There are 10 library markings, with bookplate and card and pocket. Date due slip was glued in but removed. Was a pre-bound book for the library in gray buckram, all 4 endpapers are bound in, not glued to covers. A library business card laid in. Seems to have last circulated in 1969.
