About This Item
London: Smith, Elder & Co.. London, Smith, Elder & Co., 1903. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A near fine copy in a very good jacket. Seemingly a variant issue. The White Company in this format was the first volume in a run of 1000 copies. This appears to be an out of series copy of that book (the other volumes aren't included) with a different signature leaf not mentioning the print run but mentioning presentation copy instead. The book includes the dust jacket. I've marked this as very good, mainly because of its age, but it does have a couple of chips and a large stain to the spine wrapping round to the rear, some further chipping there too. Spine tips are a bit bumped. TEG. [10078, Hyraxia Books]. . Near Fine. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1903.
