About This Item
London: The Hogarth Press, 1929. Orange dustwrapper is quite badly discoloured on the spine (original owner was a pipe-smoker), and the book itself smells still of tobacco. Otherwise a good tight copy of this hard-cover book, the eighth in the publisher's ''Hogarth Lectures on Literature'' series. This one deals with Literary Criticism from the Ancient World through to the Victorian period. 160pp.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
