Author's name signed on endpaper-don't know what his signature looks like so one can assume it is his or not. Bright, colorful cover is quite clean and unmarked with a whisper of wear to lower corner. Binding tight and solid, square. Internals as new. An inspiring true story of this boy scout troop and their spirited and inspirational days of adventure during the Great Depression (1929- -) in the United States. They built trails, lodges, camping sites, etc, in Yellowstone , inthe Olympic wilderness, in the Kitsap wilds, and fifty of them even attained the pinnacle of scouting, Eagle Scout. It is a story full of spirit and inspiration of a great time in a wonderful corner of our country, and of character building for boys that carried them through World War II and into strong roles in the building of a post-war America. 212 pages with an Index of Major Places in the Book, and two maps. 8.75 x 5.5 inches. 1998, Good Scout Publishers, Mill Creek, Washington, USA
