New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1921. First edition. Hardcover. Fine/very good. First edition in second issue dust jacket. This title last in list of Harlowe Books For Girls both in the verso of the title page and next to last on the rear panel of the jacket. Hardcover in light blue cloth lettered and decorated in darker blue. 305 pp. plus 6 pp. addendum at rear "Something About Amy Bell Marlowe Books For Girls" with a brief bio and single sample pages from her other books. Illustrated by Walter S. Rogers. A tight, fine example, neat ownership signature front free endpaper. In the original color illustrated dust jacket , solidly very good with minor wear at the tips and spione strip. The second in the series featuring young Miss Oriole Putnam. In this entry, with Oriole's parents stil missing, she goes West to stay with the twins, her friends, of a ranchman.
