SIGNED BY THE ARTIST on the colophon A charming alphabet book, dealing with all aspects of book collecting and book-making. Housed in purple cloth slipcase, orange cloth with stamped titles iin yellow and blue, endpapers of lavender polka dots on purple field, 26 miniature etchings on copper, 2" square each, colored by pochoir with accompanying text for each entry created by the artist, the text printed in letterpress. Etchings printed by K. Caraccio, text printed by Sun Hill Press, printed on Rives Heavyweight Buff paper, bound by Hope Bindery & Box. Copies in the special collections of UT at El Paso and NYPL. Other limited editions by Franklin have been acquired by the Houghton Librray (Harvard), Sterling Librray (Yale), Brown University among others.
