Hardcover. 8vo - 21 x 13.5 cm.; xiv - 191 pp. Gray cloth over boards with black lettering on the spine and the front board. First edition as per the copyright page. Approbations are dated February 17, 1948 with the copyright by Bruce being 1950. One page bibliography at the back. Mild wear to the fore corners of the boards, moderate wear to the spine tips and more so on the spine tail while the cloth is soiled/sunned on the board margins as the spine is also. Previous owner's name stamped and written on the front end papers and both the front and back end papers are quite tanned in the gutters. The interior itself is clean and the binding is sound. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
