Large octavo in light blue cloth (also seen in royal blue, no priority established) lettered in gilt and with black and white decoration of a Union Army-uniformed boy astride a charging horse. 399 pp. With 100 original drawings, full and partial page, by Frank Beard. Tales of a young man's adventures in the Civil War A tight example, cover gilt bright, spine gilt and spine cloth just a touch faded. Hinges firm, modest rubbng at gutters and tips. A very nice example indeed.
