A history of whaling in Australia and the southern seas, from the first time that whalers ventured into the southern oceans to recent times. The book was first published (in 1934) when whaling was still pursued in Australia and Australian waters. Part of A & R Non-Fiction Classics. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with sunning to the back strip. The front panel has started to curl and there is light age toning of the text block edges and pages.
