London : Collins , 1962 . First Edition . VG/VG . 8vo . SIGNED by Haig-Brown on the half-title. Haig-Brown's story of two young boys in the whaling culture of pre-contact British Columbia. A very nice copy in a very good priceclipped jacket with a small tear at the top of the front panel. Gift inscription on front endpaper note about Haig-Brown's death below his signature on the half-title. This is the blue-green jacket by Kenneth Farnhill produced for copies distributed in the United Kingdom. First impression with the error on P. 11. Cave A161.
