Kansas City, MO: Mother Love Tribe, Publisher, 1971. Tabloid. Good. Side folding tabloid newspaper format. 16 pp. Color printing and art to the covers and centerfold. Westport Trucker was an underground newspaper out of Kansas City, using satire and humor to present counterculture and left wing views, as well as reporting on local events. This issue with a reprint of an interview with Timothy Leary; an article on the uprising at Attica Prison in New York; reprints of underground comix by Ron Harper, as well as some anti-war and anti-establishment articles. GOOD condition. Paper toned. Minor soiling. Moderate chipping and tearing along fore edge. Faint mailing cancellation to the rear cover. Horizontal fold crease present.
