About This Item
Amsterdam: Johannes Blaeu, 1647. Original colour. 385 x 500mm. A fine map of Westmorland, with elaborate cartouches for the title and scale, Royal crests, 4 coats of arms plus 2 empty. Original color. Light aging to the paper and a little roughness along the edges, but a very good exemplar. Latin text on verso. Framed under glass in a simple gold frame with a 1963 date on the reverse.
