Foreword by C. McC. Mottley, of the Laboratory of Limnology & Fisheries at Cornell University. Includes a few color plate illustrations of fish by T. Brayshaw. Appendix. Index. Bound in sand-colored cloth with black lettering and design in black on front board and spine. In the color-illustrated price-clipped dust jacket that shows wear to edges; creases on rear panel; large chip at tail of spine. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
