Light bumps to the corners and spine ends, book otherwise clean and tight, the dust jacket with light nicks in the corners, light edge-wear and as very short closed tear to the top edge of rear cover. This copy inscribed by the author to British author and literary critic V. S. Pritchett on the title-page.
