Pages: clean, ivory, tight, speckled edgestain, thumb index; a.e. tanned. Cover: brown, gilt titles front/spine; v lt shelfwear, gilt to front of vol 2 mildly rubbed. The original flexible plastic wrapper encloses both books together, and is in terrific condition. An incredibly heavy beast.

Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
