Cloth dinged, with some marks and scratches; very good at best, in an edgeworn dust jacket, rubbed and with a few chips and extensive tape-mending to the underside.. 8vo, 345pp, illustrated, photographic endpapers; green cloth stamped in gilt. Double biography of the Vaudeville comedy duo, featuring an appendix of musical scores for some of their songs. Weber & Fields enjoyed great popularity at the turn of the century, and reunited repeatedly for subsequent performances and tours. Their acidic interpersonal relationship was among the inspirations for Neil Simon's "The Sunshine Boys".
