Grosset and Dunlap, 1956. Hardcover. Excellent/Very Good. Irv Docktor. Vintage Tweed Cover Hardback Book with Dust Jacket is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. Inside text is in Excellent condition and appears to be unread. No writing or marks inside the book. Outside tweed covers are very nice. Dust Jacket is in Very Good condition with some soiling to the back cover. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Book Club Edition. We Were There Books are easy to read and provide exciting, entertaining stories, based upon true historic events. Each story is checked for factual accuracy by an outstanding authority on this particular phase of history. Though written simply enough for young readers, they make interesting reading for boys and girls well into their teens. One of our family's favorite series! Imagine the Excitement that swept the country in the year 1897- there was GOLD along the Klondike!
