New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1927. First Trade. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. This is the first trade edition of this book. Hardcover lacking jacket. With many photos. A classic recounting of the early days of aviation with one of the pioneers and adventurers. In VERY GOOD+ condition. Light fading and rubbing to the covers. Spine pulled and faded. Small spot of discoloration on the back cover. Inner text clean and tight with a hint of foxing to a couple of pages. Previous owners' bookplate (Marjorie and Elmer R. Lapp, 20th century artists from the Finger Lakes region) on inside front cover. Nice copy of this work in VERY GOOD+ condition.
