An interesting and complete guide on British wildlife, pocket sized and thoroughly illustrated with charming coloured plates and black and white illustrations in text. The first series of three only. Complete with uncommon unclipped dust wrapper.Edward Step specialised on nature writing and produced multiple works on the subjects of botany, zoology, and mycology between 1894 and 1941. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Dust wrapper unclipped with shelf wear, sunned to spine, loss to head of spine and extremities, tape repaired by a previous owner. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
