Black-and-white Illustrated frontispiece, of Pan, illustrator not credited. Illustrated endpapers, being a Merman and a Merwoman [ on either side] blowing horns, against a gray background. Purple coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Purple coloured tint to the top text block edge. Illustrated dustwrapper, being the publisher's logo against a orange background with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. An anthology of poetry from across the English history. Part of the Collins Pocket Classics series -- number 328. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with a little bumping of the book corners. Light age toning of the text block edges with scattered foxing. Age toning and scattered foxing to the pages. The frontispiece is starting to come away from the text block. A little chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Sunning of the back strip with rubbing of the dustwrapper panels. Foxing to the fold over panels and to the verso.
