Author signed. Cover darkening slightly along top edge and (less so) around spine; gilt spine title rubbed/dulled so that it is hard to read. Top of spine a bit warped as perhaps from moisture. Small damp-spot on foredge of back cover. Interior just beginning to tan lightly from age. Still an attractive and tight copy, with a few minor flaws.. Signed by Author. Limited to 850 Copies [No. 540]. Hardcover. Good to Very Good/No Dust Jacket. Illus. by Pape, Frank C.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
