Synopsis

Frederick Barthelme is the author of fourteen books of fiction, the most recent of which, Elroy Nights , was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award. He is also the coauthor, with his brother Steve Barthelme, of the acclaimed memoir Double Down . He directs the writing program at the University of Southern Mississippi and edits the Mississippi Review .
