Description:
London: Robertson & Mullens, 1965. Used. 'How a desert become a garden, how aridity became loveliness, and how a remote and rainless land, stout pioneers both women and men, establish an industry unique in the British Empire, and add wealth and a new province to Australia; all this and more has been told in terms of high romance in Water Into Gold'. How could you resist? I gather from the rest of the prose that it's a novel set around the exploration and colonisation of the country surrounding the Murray River, in that outpost of colonisation, Terra Australis
