Translated from the original French of the author Claudius Saunier --and considerably enlarged-- by Julien Trippin and Edward Rigg. Tight and Near Fine in its dark-green cloth, with bright gilt-titling at the spine and blindstamped titling --and insignia-- along the front panel. A touch of light foxing to the front free endpaper, otherwise clean as could be internally. Thick 12mo, includes "numerous woodcuts (36) and fourteen copperplates". And 14 fold-out maps at the rear, all of which are in very nice condition.
