Oblong paperback, 7"/17.7cm h. x 10"/25.3cm l. Bound in publisher's glossy color pictorial wrappers. 199, [1]. Intro by Pulitzer Prize winner Jules Feiffer, B&W editorial cartoons organized into sections: Oldies, International, Local, Caricatures, Energy Crunch, Kennedy and Carter, General. Condition notes: A very good copy with moderate wear and rubbing to wrappers. Former owner's bookplate affixed to inside front cover. Inscribed by Szep on half title page to former owner. Szep was longtime editorial cartoonist with Boston Globe, who has since gone on to be a Pulitzer Prize winner. An early collectible work documenting what turned out to be simpler times. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
