Illustrated with tables, drawings and photographs. First Amrican edition. A collection of articles, by various authors, devoted to the history, design and development of the world's combat ships. Included also is a Naval Year in Review; Warship Notes; Naval books of the Year. Dust-jacket protected by reinforced mylar covers that have been pasted to inside of front and rear boards. Not an ex-library copy, from a private collection. No previous ownership marks present. Dust-jacket is complete with no tears or chips. Very mld toning to page margins, else a clean, square, unmarked copy. Features articles on Chapman's Frigates; Battleship USS Oregon, Imperial Japanese Navy repair ship Akaski; the Yorktown Class; and midget submarine attack on the Tirpitz, et alia.
