Adam and Charles Black, London, 1903. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 274 pages (complete). A passive copy. The boards are much worn, marked, scuffed, stained all about. They do, however, retain a dignity that is pleasing. The spine has wear, marks. The boards and spine are steady and sure. Inside, the contents are pleasing. Whilst there is evidence of use, ownership and age throughout, the pages are contented. The pages fore and aft have flecks of foxing, some handling marks. The pages in general, and by far, are clean, clear, genteel, convivial, very occasionally flushed with shallow foxing, generous, engaging. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
