New York: Harper & Bros., 1951. unpaginated. Clay colored cloth, embossed black band across the front panel. Photo endpapers. Light wear to the extremties, toning to the text. Price-clipped pictorial jacket has a few scuff spots on the front panel, with light chips on the spine edges in mylar sleeve. 150 pages of black and white photographs of the U.S. Marines in Korea by David Douglas Duncan. One of the best war photographers, these captionless photos tell the story of soldiers in a life and death struggle as is the photographer, who is in the middle of it all. Duncan, an ex-marine, would go on to do the same photo-narrative in the Vietnam war.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Quarto.

Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.).
