His Majesty's Stationery Office, London, 1935. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (1/4 Cloth 3/4 Boards). Good Condition (ex-library)/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Illustrated. Preface by M. N. MacLeod, introduction by committee and three appendices. The text is illustrated with formulae, black and white line drawings, charts, photographs in black-and-white – including some fold out of aerial surveying photographs. 1/4 green coloured textured cloth covered back strip. 3/4 green coloured boards with the in signature of the British Isles to the top edge of the front panel; and, black coloured titles also present. The second report of this committee that was founded in 1920, dealing with the problem of surveying from the air, and, it's solution (Arundel method) is detailed in this report. This is an ex-library copy – Munitions Supply Board Library – and has the faults of same: – library stamps to the top right hand corner of the front panel, verso of the front panel, top right hand corner of the free front end page and title page – along with cancellation stamps. Other library notations are present to the front panel and other pages already mentioned along with library barcode to the lower left hand corner of the title page and top left hand corner of the front book panel. Do back pocket is still in situ and library sticker to the lower edge of the back strip. – Please see photos. Chipping of the cloth to the back strip with bumping to the book corners. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with handling marks also present. Tape stains and ink stains are present to the front panel and there is tanning of the text block edges and lighter tanning of the pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], 5 - 183, [1] pages,.
