Seeley. 1900. Eighth edition. (10213) Hardback. 312 pages. Tissue-guarded portrait of Lord Raglan at frontispiece plus 8 other b.w. illustrations. Bound in maroon leather with gilt motif of Kings College London on front board, gilt lining to edges of front and rear boards and gilt labels on maroon cloth fixed to leather spine with 5 raised bands. Faded marbling to edges of text block, marbled end-papers and decorative prize label of Kings College fixed to front paste-down. This book has been rebound (rebacked in matching leather) with new gilt titling to spine. A sound tight clean copy.
