About This Item

New York: Unknown, 1921. This small flyer/pamphlet is part of the several actions by Irish-Americans to boycott British goods and industry during the uprising and civil war in Ireland. Robert Feely, as an insurance broker, quite naturally pushed for boycotting British insurance companies in a letter to "The Nation." He claims here that they take out some six-hundred-million dollars from America. Four pages, from a sheet folded in half, in very Good (Minus) condition. Quite rare. There is no publication date, but Quercus suggests 1921 as probable. Fragile; with a closed tear.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
