Harper's Weekly, 1861. The plate and glass framed and double-matted. This is page 679 from Harper's Weekly dated October 26, 1861. Top half of the plate shows the war balloon. The bottom half shows General Fremont's camp near Jefferson City, Missouri.. Both have been hand-colored. See photo. Light old tape stain at right upper corner. We have not removed the plate from the frame. .
