Pages remain bright and clear. Moderate foxing to endpapers. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with sticker to pastedown opposite. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Unclipped jacket. Heavy tanning to all surfaces. Heavy edgewear, with visible rips and chipping, and some areas of loss.

Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened slightly. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Tanning to spine and edges causing discolouration.
