Boston & New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1922. Katherine Tynan (1859?-1931) was an ardent Irish nationalist and a friend to Yeats and Gerard Manley Hopkins. She was influential in the Irish Literary Revival and incredibly prolific as an author: some160 titles are noted by Cambridge; she published 3 other books in the same year as this one. "The Wandering Years" is autobiographical and covers the period of the Irish Revolution; it is surprisingly rare, considering her output. This is a Near Fine copy of the First American Edition. Blue cloth binding, ruled and titled in gilt. Clean text; 390 pages, indexed; some pages unopened toward the rear. The dustjacket is complete and unclipped, but with some chipping at the head of the spine and both covers; there is a also a chip at the foot resulting in a loss of about 1" by 1" In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good.
