New York: New Directions, 1946. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Very Good +/Poor. No statement of later printing. Book is in lovely green cloth with bright gilt to spine. Corners are a little soft or lightly dinged. Bookplate to front pastedown and period review from Time Magazine dated January 12, 1947 taped to ffep at top and bottom. A few small creases to last few pages at bottom, otherwise clean with tight binding. Jacket is unclipped ($1.50), but very brittle with chipping along edges, along and inside flap and spine creases with some splitting and age tanning.
