1879. [LEWIS, Thomas, photographer] NELSON, Charles A. WALTHAM, PAST AND PRESENT; AND ITS INDUSTRIES. WITH AN HISTORICAL SKETCH OF WATERTOWN FROM ITS SETTLEMENT IN 1630 TO THE INCORPORATION OF WALTHAM, JANUARY 15, 1738. Cambridge: Thomas Lewis, 1879. 152 pp. + 55 albumen photo images (mostly two per page). 8vo.,Trade edition (somewhat smaller than the original limited edition as the text pages have been trimmed so as to be even with the albumen photos). The binding is a small replica of the binding of the limited edition with the same beveled edges, brown cloth and gilt staming. Spine is gone and reinforced with tape. Hinges also internally reinforced. Many pages loose as the binding has not held. Edges, corners and spine also worn. Exlilbrary bookplate on pastedown. Quite scarce.
