Illustrated with duo-tone drawings by Jim Spanfeller. First edition, no additional printings listed. Gift inscription in pen on half-title page, quoting Whitman's verse. No underlining, highlighting or writing in text, A clean, tight, fresh copy of an edition usually found in poor condition. Dust-jacket lightly worn at tips and head of spine, though complete but for price clipped corner on inner flap. A near fine copy in a still very good dust-jacket. .
