Hardback bound in cream colored cloth-covered boards with gilt title on the spine. Book is sunned along the edges of the cover and there is foxing on closed page edges. Dust jacket has tear on the front top at the fold and at the spine and there is chipping along the back top edge. Book is INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR to former owner on the title page. Black and white frontis with tissue guard in place. Numerous color plates of wallpaper with some black and white photos. 533 pages including the Index. .
