About This Item

Salt Lake City: Dream Garden Press, 2005. Hardcover. Fine. R. Crumb. Octavo (22 cm), pp. 200. Limited edition (500 copies). Signed by author on limitation page. Brown cloth boards with R. Crumb's drawing of George Washington Hayduke blindstamped on front board, silver spine text. Limited/numbered print of the same drawing, signed by Peacock, laid-in. Hayduke, the hero of Edward Abbey's eco-sabotage classics The Monkey Wrench Gang and Hayduke Lives!, was based on Peacock; and this memoir, in part, chronicles Peacock and Abbey's friendship.
