Munich: Sunset Films, Unknown. Treatment script for an unproduced film. Bound in with the script are two copied letters, one addressed to film producer Stefan Abendroth from a talent agent discussing actor Stacy Keach's interest in the title role, and one from screenwriter Zbigniew Kaminski expressing willingness to write a full screenplay on the materials addressed in the treatment.
The true story of Lech Walesa, a shipyard electrician who became the father of the Polish Solidarity party and eventually served as the first democratically-elected president of Poland. Screenwriter Zbigniew Kaminski was best known as a Polish director of political films and biopics, including "The Shadow Line" (1976), "Pani Bovary to ja" (1977), and "In a Moment of Passion" (1993).
Set in Poland.
Yellow transparent plastic front wrapper, blue rear wrapper. Title page present, with credits for screenwriter Zbigniew Kaminski. 62 leaves, with last page of text numbered 57. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good plus, bound internally with three silver brads.
