Tomlinson during the Great War, in an uncommon dust wrapper. This work contains a number of sketches by the author on the subject of war and the world beyond it.Written by H. M. Tomlinson (1873-1958), a British writer and journalist remembered for his anti-war work. He was a correspondent for the British Army in France during the First World War, but returned to England in 1917 to work on The Nation, a political journal which opposed the war. His other works include 'Gallions Reach', 'London River' and 'Norman Douglas'.In an uncommon dust wrapper. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with only minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is a little sunned to the spine, which has a few marks to it, and a tape repair internally running along the head. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
