About This Item
London: The Hakluyt Society, 1994. Hard bound, volume one only, 333pp. Inscribed and signed on front free endpaper by author William Barr. This inscription, covering half the page, has in turn been scribbled over, but although this is annoying it does not detract from its legibility. Illustrated with maps and line drawings, and indexed. 'Booksale' stamps to side edge and bottom of front free endpaper. Very good in very good dust jacket. 660 grams.
