London: John Murray, 1831. Hardcover. Very Good -. Possible FIRST THUS. Three quarter leather with marbled boards and end-papers. Top edge gilt, still bright. Front and rear cover are detached. STILL, a Very Good copy - with only a small previous owners name and state on front blank free end-paper. No other markings. All illustrations are in place with a large fold out MAP still tipped in at rear - approx. 16" across and 11 " tall. The Map has a 1" closed tear at top margin (only), otherwise is in Fine condition. Spine leather has two chips to lower portion, else complete. 337 pages, which includes a large Appendix. Priced to reflect imperfections. Protected in an archival slip.
