Full brown leather binding with no external lettering. 3 parts in one, although title page states 'Tome Premier'. Pagination 187pp, 116pp, 180pp. Illustrated black and white frontispiece. Heavily cracked binding. Notable tanning to pages throughout. Previous owner's inscription and sticker to front paste down. Some gutter cracking. Pencil scribble to rear paste down. Frontispiece has creases and slight edge tears. Heavy wear, rubbing and bumping to spine, board edges and corners. Both joints are split, with rear board partially detached. Heavy scuffing, staining and marking to boards. Some loss to leather at edges, corners and middle of boards. Title plate on spine is missing. Visible cracking along spine. Gilt almost entirely worn off.
