New York: MacMillan, 1952. first american edition. Hardcover. Good +/good +. 6 x 8 in. First US edition. Blue cloth boards with dragon. Condition is GOOD+ ; cloth has pale spotting to spine and along upper front edge. Edges have some toning, little wear at all. Binding tight. Bookplate on pastedown with written presentation to a Maine school student, dated 1955. One small spot on title pg., text clean and unmarked. DJ is GOOD+ ; clipped, very clean, edges and spine have a little sunning/toning. Two moderate sized chips to lower front, no tears, edges have mild wear and chips. In a new mylar wrapper. Chil. RGR.
