Octavo; pp. 181 plus a colophon; frontispiece portrait; quarter vellum, gilt and gray paper covered boards, top edge gilt; printed on Japan vellum; edge wear, bumped corners, a darkened spine, otherwise a good or better copy. Introduction by Theodore Roosevelt. Foley's father was a friend of Roosevelt in the Medora days and the author sometimes worked for TR's ranch. North Dakota poet raised in the Badlands.
