Hardcover first printing with dustjacket, the blue cloth binding is clean and tight and the contents are fine, two minor book flaws are present: a gift inscription on the first blank end-paper and some mild tanning to the same page, the jacket is price-clipped, has some mild scuffing and one tiny edge-tear, it is also clean and pleasing to the eye overall and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "The story of Deep Sea Cable-laying 1858-1958," illustrated, 220 pages .
