The text is illustrated with two inserts, of eight pages each of reproductions of historical illustrations, documents and caricatures. Red coloured boards with gilt coloured publisher's logo to the front panel with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with white, red and black coloured titles to the front panel and red and black coloured titles to the back strip. The biography of Antonio Vivaldi and of the age in which he lived the Baroque. Minor rubbing of the book edges with age toning of the text block edges. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels and there is a small split to the top edge of the back strip. Quite noticeable fading of the back strip. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
