Coloniae Agrippinae [Cologne]: Sumptibus Joannis Kreps & Hermanni Mylii, 1618. 3/4 leather. Very Good. 10 1/2 x 15 inches. Folio. 2 ffep + * (6 leaf quire) + ** (4 leaf quire) + A - Aaa (6 leaf quires) + Bbb1 + 1 rfep. Unobtrusive library plates of Bibl. Prov. Germ. Inferioris. and library stamp of Bibliotheca Con. SS Red. Mar. Hamicolt. Old repair to margin of ffep and engraved title page. Engraved frontispiece of author and engraved title. Dampstaining and age toning and a few small wormholes diminishing from front. A very few marginal notes in contemporary ink, and notes in old ink to ffep. Bound in 19th Century 3/4 calf with marbled boards. Front interior hinge reinforced with Japanese tissue. A very good clean copy of this Carthusian Lives of the Saints for January.
